Top 10 NFTs on OpenSea by Sales Volume – 28th Feb, 2022

The NFT market continued its streak of high sales volume this week as well on OpenSea, an NFT marketplace for buying and selling NFT items.
Let’s look at the top 10 NFT projects of the past week.

1. Invisible Friends: $57.5 million

It is a much-hyped NFT collection that consists of 5000 animated invisible characters. Soon after its early access sale began on February 23rd, it hit a floor price of 12 ETH ($29K). With over 10,000 ETH ($24M) in trading volume, the prices settled around 9 ETH ($22,000), helping it climb on top of the leaderboard.

2. 3Landers : $42.2 million

As one of the most profitable launches of 2022, 3Landers has already gathered 18.1K ETH in the secondary gross sales quantity and a floor price worth 2.35 ETH. It has also collaborated with numerous hot NFTs in the market from different communities such as Doodles, Cool Cats, and Smilesssvrs.

3. Tubby Cats: $37.8 million

Consisting of 20,000 NFTs that depict unique cat avatars generated by computers, Tubby Cats generated 11,600 ETH ($27.7 M) worth in trading volume in three days, as soon as it got listed. Some unknown NFT enthusiast even spent 204 ETH ($488,800) as gas fees to mint 1,000 Tubby Cats NFTs. The project currently has a floor price of 0.545 ETH.

4. Bored Ape Yacht Club: $25.6 million

Being one of the most popular NFT collections of the previous year, Bored Ape Yacht Club has managed to attract a lot of NFT collectors, investors, athletes and celebrities to its community. A hot rumour about this NFT is doing rounds on the internet. It’s speculated that the list of celebrities owning Bored Ape Yacht Club will get joined by the world’s richest person, CEO of Tesla’s Inc, Elon Musk, who recently got clicked with the co-founders of MoonPay.

5. Mfers : $18.6 million

Experiencing growth of about 66% in total volume in the past week, Mfers climbed to the third position on the list. Its floor price reached 5.84 ETH, equaling around $15,330.

6. NFT Worlds : $16.6 million

The NFT Worlds collection has virtual pieces of land with about 10,000 different worlds that vary from snowy tundras to forest islands and massive volcanoes. The current floor price for a single piece of land is 14.5 ETH which equals $38.150. In three days, it reported over 26000 player hours this month.

7. Azuki : $15.1 million

Azuki is a collection of 10,000 avatars. It gives its members access to The Garden, a corner of the internet where artists, builders and web3 enthusiasts meet to create a decentralised future. It has a floor price of 10.25 ETH ($27,057.47).

8. CloneX : $14.7 million

CloneX by RTFKT and Takeshita Murakami consists of 20,000 NFT avatars and has a current floor price of 12.8 ETH. Last week, it gained two spots and moved from 10th to 8th position.

9. Starcatchers: $14.4 million

A new entry on the list, Starcatchers is a collection of 10,000 fun-loving space explorers. It has a floor price of 0.47 ETH.

10. Howlerz: $13.9 million

Even after releasing secretly, Howlerz got swarmed by bots and minted out in less than ten seconds. But it seemed like a scam as the users found failed transactions, empty wallets and drained accounts. However, it’s a new addition to the top 10 list.
